The factory front S-10 Cab mount was removed and ground flat.

The mount was made from 1/8 wall 2x4 box tubing. Urethane bushing wll be used.

The process was repeated on the passenger side

Little Chris welding up the new shaved firewall. We used a 16 gauge sheet of steel and broke it so there was no need for multiple panels.

As you can see the HEI distributor clears without any holes or modifications.

Nice smooth firewall to replaced the wavy stock item.

The one piece panel was completely welded from top to bottom.

Here we see the floor needed slight cutting for the 700r to clear.

We put the stock transmission cover in place to give an idea of how much lower the cab is.

There will be a small tunnel for the transmission tail and the driveshaft.
